Taal Barahi Temple

Dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Durga, temple Barahi is positioned right in the middle of the Phewa lake. The temple was built by the first Shah King, King Kulmandhan Shah, a passionate devotee of Goddess Durga in the 18th century.
The temple is surrounded by a huge lake followed by luscious greenery and then the peaks of the glorious mountains. Several visitors, both international and local, can be spotted here. Some come here to take in the scenic beauty surrounding them while others to get the blessing.
