Discovered in the mid-1900s, Mahendra Cave is a splendid cave holding a sacred place; it has a statue of Lord Shiva installed inside. But geographically, the cave contains calcium salt deposits forming stalactites and stalagmites.
The cave is also known as “House of Bats” with several bats living within its wall.
